CAKE CARE

Handling Your Cake
  • Pickup and carry the cake box from the bottom only.

  • Keep the cake level at all times, including transport & refrigeration.

  • Transport the cake in an air-conditioned vehicle, away from loose objects.

  • Store cake in the box, in a refrigerator.

  • Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat when not in fridge.

  • Take cake out of the fridge 1 hour before serving, and serve at room temperature.

  • Use a sturdy cake stand at least an inch larger than the cake board.

  • Store the leftover cake in the fridge, in an airtight container.

Traveling With Your Cake
  • Please place your cake box on the front passenger floor. (It's a flat surface)

  • Royalty Eats & Sweets is not responsible for any damages to your custom cake.

  • No one should be holding your cake.

  • Your cake should not be in the trunk of the vehicle.

  • Your cake should not be on the seat of the vehicle.

  • Please refrain from speeding, sudden stops, & sharp turns.

Disassembling, Cutting, & Serving Your Custom Cake
  • Before cutting your cake, please remove all decor. (this includes: toppers, fruit, toys, florals, dragees, candy, etc)

  • If you have a tiered cake, your cake will have a cake board under each tier with (6-8) bubble tea straws centered, and a wooden dowel straight down the middle of the cake. (These items support the structure of your cake)

  • Please remove straws before cutting.

  • To get nice clean slices, use a large sharp knife to cut cake.

  • Cut down side of cake & lay that slab on on a plate or cutting board.

  • Then portion by cutting smaller pieces to serve your guests.
